Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay (pronounded Ha-NOW-mah. Not HUMINA-ana.. as someone likes to say) was formed from a sunken volcanic crater which is now a living reef with so much coral and colorful fishies floating around. The fun part was going way out in the water where you could see the amazing structures way down on the ocean floor. The not so fun part was that there was so much freaking coral that I got a little scraped up and bruised from the waves banging me into them. It's aite though, anything for a few cool underwater pictures. And answer me this. Even though the park made us watch a 10 video on how to protect the reef and to PLEASE not touch the fishes, why did we still reach out our hands every single time we saw a fish? They need to try reverse psychology on us instead: "Please pet fish. They like it"
